Huge warning for survivor's guilt, mental health issues, and suicide ideation.
Sniper is one of many humans that Hydreigon called upon for help to destroy the Bittercold. He woke up in the Mist Continent, but due to Hydreigon being unable to establish a stable connection immediately after Sniper's arrival, Sniper was more or less taken in by a rescue team around the area. Sniper made the decision to formally join the team due to the opportunities that traveling around the world and exploring new dungeons offered Sniper for finding out more about their sudden transformation. He quickly grew accustomed to his newfound strength, allowing him to secure a slot as a permanent ally of Team Flow.
Upon finally managing to reach out to Sniper without any interruptions getting in the way, Hydreigon informed Sniper of the mission she summoned him for and the necessary steps that needed to be taken. Once it was carried out, Sniper could return home and the world would be spared from being recreated from scratch. Because Team Flow had become quite a respected team at this point, they had faith in their abilities to take on this dangerous final adventure at Sniper's side, with the entirety of Noe Town supporting them every step of the way.
The mission resulted in failure, Sniper being the sole survivor of Kyurem's wrath before even getting a glimpse at the Bittercold. Upon noticing Sniper's hopelessness, Kyurem took pity and decided to spare him under the condition that Sniper never returns or makes any attempt to destroy the Bittercold again in the future. With a heavy, destroyed heart, Sniper fled the Glacier Palace and the entire Mist Continent after being ridiculed for their failure and blamed for the death of their well-respected friends. Any attempts to reconnect from Hydreigon resulted in lack of cooperation from Sniper, furious that she would remove them from their home world just to be sent off on a horrific, traumatizing mission in a world they didn't even recognize.
Upon arriving at the Water Continent, very few recognized Sniper, allowing him to take some time to catch his breath as he figured out what he planned to do from here on out. By speaking to some of the locals in Pokemon Square, he learned of the existence of Mewtwo, leading him to plot. On one hand, making his way through the treacherous Western Cave and defeating the world's most powerful Pokemon would re-earn him his reputation as a hero and the love he craved. On the other hand, Sniper's survivor guilt had gotten so severe that he failed to see his own death during his fight against Mewtwo as an undesirable outcome.
As expected, Sniper lost, resulting in a furious Mewtwo (who revealed her name to be Callisto) that felt as if her strength was being insulted by Sniper's lack of effort during the fight. Sniper explained himself to her, resulting in a heart-to-heart that Callisto hadn't experienced since her change of heart all those years ago. Pursuing further friendship and helping Callisto would become Sniper's long-term goal from here on out, slowly bettering one another and healing from the scars inflicted on them.
Sniper is charismatic and confident, though this demeanor becomes more of a facade as time goes on due to the way his survivor's guilt pretty much reshaped the way he feels about the world he's been summoned into. He has little interest in connecting with others on a deeper level, only regaining his desire for togetherness upon meeting Callisto. Has a debilitating fear of angry crowds and is quick to flee a scene where multiple Pokemon are getting worked up out of frustration.
Due to formerly being a human from a more modern world, Sniper has a habit of accidentally slipping some of their world's slang into the way they speak to other Pokemon, often earning odd looks from those around them.
Likes women, stage magic, being the center of attention, and dolls.
