A Mewtwo of above average height, standing at 7 ft, with dark grey skin and bright purple eyes. Her skin fades into a darker shade starting at her forearms to her hands, as well as from her knees to her feet. Her elbows, knees, shoulders, cheeks, and nose bridge are covered in colorful freckles. She has light purple paw pads, fingertips, and tail.
Is rarely seen wearing any sort of accessories.
Callisto was created by an overambitious group of scientists with the goal of creating a living weapon of unparalleled strength using the mythical Mew's DNA. Unable to find any reason to serve the beings that brought her into this world for the sake of satisfying their own curiosity, this plan backfired shortly after Callisto's first awakening and the lab was left in ruins.
One failed attempt at world domination and a change of heart later, Callisto made the decision to seal herself away in the depths of the Western Cave located on the Water Continent to ensure the safety of herself and those around her, but also as a form of self-punishment. She remained in this cave for many years, leaving only because of a surfacing psychic connection guiding her to the basement of her ruined birthplace.
What Callisto found in the lab was a second, unborn clone of Mew asleep within a cryostasis chamber, an experimental project that never reached its conclusion due to limited funding forcing scientists to focus all attention on the original Mewtwo project until more resources could be acquired. Said experimental project was never brought to its completion, so Callisto made the tentative decision to allow the clone, previously trapped in a perpetual newborn state, to be introduced to the world. This project was dubbed Pluto by the deceased scientists of the twins' pasts.
A brief attempt to take Pluto under Callisto's wing was quickly met with the realization that she did not possess the necessary compassion and instincts to guide the infant towards the normal adult life it deserved. After much reflection, she came to the difficult decision to relinquish her short-lived role as Pluto's caretaker over to a renowned rescue team who were more than strong enough to handle Pluto's rapidly developing psychic abilities as he grew older while also giving him a relatively normal childhood. Despite their relationship as siblings, Callisto decided that it would be for the best if she remained out of Pluto's life as much as possible, as she was fearful of how he'd be treated by those around him due to the impression Callisto left on her species.
Callisto returned to the Western Cave, sealing herself off once more with even more guilt than before. Her only contact with the outside world was with challengers who traversed the cave in search of the ultimate test of strength, very few coming close to making the cut. Of these defeated challengers, one that caught her attention was Sniper, whose first impression left her furious due to Callisto interpreting their intentional loss as an insult to her strength. The two more or less found a sense of unity upon discussing what had led them to their current self-destructive choices, leading Sniper to more or less force themself into Callisto's life with the goal of being her vehicle out of her own self-imposed exile.
While Callisto possesses very little of the cruelty and misanthropy she once held, she's still cold towards most others and difficult to approach with a preference for keeping her interactions curt, assuming she hasn't sealed herself away in the depths of Western Cave. Despite this coldness, it's rare to see her making attempts to hurt others through the weight of her own words
Because of their intense lust for combat that persists even after their failed attempt at world domination, Callisto often feels guilty, wondering whether or not they actually changed in a way that matters or if they even deserve a second chance at life.
Likes keeping active, reading, spicy food, and companionship solitude.

Isn't convinced Pluto would ever want to see her. Wants to check on him, to be the sister she wishes she had been, but feels it's too late to create anything worthwhile.
Callisto doesn't fully grasp her own reasoning as to why she keeps Sniper around, but what Callisto does know is that she doesn't want to be alone anymore.
- she's BALD!!!
